We've let our older cat grow her nails too long and have curved around and penetrated her pads, leaving some scabbing from bleeding. I was able to trim and removed the point so hopefully will recover well. She is old and very mellow.
What should I swab the sores with? Is hydrogen peroxide ok to use?
