For Shirley Lambert:
The dashing around the house is a kitten and young cat thing.
When mine was young, I used to say that I should have
named him, "90 per" because he raced around the house
at about 90 mph.
But he grew out of it.
Now follows me everywhere, but sedately.

Hi Shirley,

It does sound like a kitten thing he will grow out of. Neutering might calm him down a little; however, it might take him as much as a year to get over that kitten stuff.

Hi:

We have a 6 month sealpoint bicolor boy ragdoll - his name is Oliver and we love him. Our problem is that he occasionally bites and goes on wild tears around the house knocking things over, etc. We are retired and spend a great deal of time with him. He is affectionate and does follow us around, etc. Is this a kitten thing? he will be neutered in a couple of weeks, will this change his behaviour?

Thank you we look forward to a response
