<description>This is in response to Melissa. I also have a 7 month old male kitten and he is very playful and wild right now, which is normal for a kitten of this age. You didn&#039;t say how he attacked yourself and others but I assume he attacks moving feet or hands. This is normal behavior for a 7 month old kitten and it is very important that he gets some vigorous playtime with you to wear him out. With my kitten I will wad up a small piece of paper and he will play fetch with me. I keep throwing down the stairs and he will keep retreiving it, which wears him out. I also purchased one of those laser pointers, with the small red light and he loves chasing that light around without me having to exert any energy if I&#039;m tired. The cat toys with a pole and string attached with a dangling toy are fun for cats. I think it is especially important to play with your kitten, if he is an only cat. Kitten&#039;s really need playful interaction at this age, really until they are one year old. By the time your kitten is one year old he will calm down and not be so aggressive. Do you think you have been playing with him enough to expend all his kitten energy? Also at 7 months you want to get him him neutered which will also help calm him down. Good luck!
