I stuck the stick into a drawer to hold it so she could play with it and in a few minutes she had the string wrapped around her neck, she almost killed herself, so I am staying away from toys with strings. It's the BEST THING EVER. I've also made a toy from an empty paper towel tube by covering the ends with tape and cutting a few small holes in the tube then stuffing some treats inside. The treats make a tempting noise as they rattle around when the cats push or bat the tube. It keeps my Sparrow absorbed for hours, until he manages to shake the last treat free.
