Hi I'm new to this forum and a first time Ragdoll owner. We got our male kitten just over three weeks ago when he was 13 weeks ( UK)
He is great, so loving and follows me everywhere all the time. Anyway after a few days I noticed he had no whiskers but there was jaggy stumps as if they have been cut at some point? The vet agreed and found this strange. He is now getting some little soft whiskers emerging as well as some of the cut ones getting longer.
My question is why would his whiskers have been cut off? Or is it possible they broke/snapped off thereself through some medical thing?
He was quite a little skinny thing although didnt seem unwell at all and is energetic and playful.

LOL...he should be fine :O))
I have to tell U I have a MOM who insists on eating off almost every kitten in her litters whiskers
She is a Mega MOM who does not leave her box even to eat,I feed her in the box and the litter box gets but in side as well. She is over the top.
Even tried to pull them out of the litter box when they are old enough to try and use it.............I read Mother Animals will do this to cut down on the babies sence of feel in order to keep them close.
My Vet has always said do NOT worry they will grow back. If baby is doing well other wise do not fret :O))))
