My monster tied to bite me when she was younger, and on occasion now as a 2 year old. When she tries, I remove my hand and push her face down, saying "no biting" and I put her on the floor and don't let her back on the furniture. She is learning that she loses privileges, and doesn't like the restrictions, so she is usually as good as gold.

If you want to see how smart she is, on top of being toilet trained (no litter box for me! Yippeee!), go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAw9hRvU6FY

I call her a Dat because she knows she is one of the 4 Cavaliers she lives with. She also retrieves a soft Frisbee, video to come.

Excellent reading. I haave a 1 year old male and he often bites me. I have tried everything and nothing works except now I get up and walk away when I see the look in his eyes. THis seems to be working. He will still try it off and on but I am thinking it is an attention getter as he usually does it when I am knitting. I can just reach out to pet him and he will bite me. Sometimes he hangs onto my arm and I can't get him off. I have great scars. Will he outgrow this?<br />
Thank you,
